Guide Right Program

The Guide Right Program

kappa-scholarshipThe GUIDE RIGHT program is the Fraternity’s national service program that was developed in 1921. The overall purpose of the program is to promote and foster the development of school-age students through vocational and academic settings. Through this program, the local chapters of the Fraternity coordinate, sponsor and implement various meaningful activities to enhance the growth, leadership skills and talent of our youth. The program is often titled Kappa League. The Guide Right Program for the Ventura Alumni Chapter is an award winning program. In 2009, Ventura Alumni won the Best Small Chapter Guide Right Program of the year. This was a huge honor as it was presented at the 2009 Western Province Council in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kappa Alpha Psi’s commitment to young people is well established and our Guide Right efforts, both individual and collective, can continue to serve as a mechanism to “Inspire service in the public interest”.
